Good afternoon and welcome to our brief program overview for the Canada Police Preparations Police Constable Recruitment Program. Before we begin, please take a moment to review the links below. It’s recommended to copy these links and watch the videos provided. Each video is an information session from various police services across Canada, designed to give you a strong understanding of the police constable role and the realities of the job before enrolling in our program.

Canada Police Preparation is owned and facilitated by actively serving officers. Established in 2019 in Ontario as Ontario Police Preparation, we have since expanded nationwide, offering tailored programs to meet the needs of Alberta, British Columbia, the RCMP, and all other municipal services across Canada. Our program is designed to guide you through the entire recruitment process with both group sessions and one-on-one support, helping you prepare and navigate the police constable recruitment process, no matter where you apply.

Program Costs and Fees:

• In-Person Pickup: $650.00 (no administrative fees). You’ll need to schedule an appointment at our Etobicoke location to pick up materials.

• Mail and Online Payment: $735.00, with materials mailed directly to you and payment processed online via invoice.

• Financing Option: $800.00 for the entire program, available with financing over one year through our website.

Let’s dive into the program details!

Our program is organized into five lessons over a three-month period. Each lesson can be attended up to three times, with classes typically scheduled at 8 pm Eastern Standard Time and around 1 pm on weekends, allowing flexibility for students across Canada. With three available class times for each lesson, you’re likely to find a session that fits your schedule. Each lesson lasts between one and one and a half hours and is a live session taught by an officer or sergeant.

At the end of the three-month period, you will submit your homework from the course and then complete the written exam for your respective province. You’ll also apply to 2-3 police services. We will then provide one-on-one interview preparation and guidance as you navigate the recruitment process. Since 2019, 100% of our students have received interviews upon applying, so we encourage focusing on a few select applications to avoid being overwhelmed by multiple processes.

What’s Included in the Five Lessons and Three Months of Classes?

Upon registration, you will receive a physical study guide covering every interview question asked by Canadian police services in the past five years. You’ll also get access to an online portal where you can complete pre-course modules as homework. In our first lesson, we’ll review this assigned homework.

What else is included in the three months?

• Resume and Cover Letter: We’ll help you create a resume and cover letter that align your work experience with police service values and highlight your transferable skills.

• Written Exam Prep: We provide study materials for written exams, including the OACP, ETHOS, APCAT, and RCMP exams.

• Volunteer Placement: We’ll arrange a volunteer placement with an organization that supports individuals experiencing mental illness or crisis, providing you with hands-on experience and formal training to strengthen your application.

• Unlimited Courses: Access courses on essential topics like mental illness, Indigenous culture, Black Lives Matter, gender identity, stress management, and other police-related subjects. These courses help bolster your application package and meet the mandatory requirements for police service applications.

• Interview Training and Document Collection: We’ll prepare you for interviews, assist with collecting police reports, and gather all required documents for the recruitment process.

• Psychological Assessment Support: We’ll provide guidance for the psychological assessment and any other steps in the process.

If you apply and are not hired, we continue to support you without additional fees until you are successful, no matter how long it takes.

Fitness Support

While we don’t offer in-person gym sessions, we provide a fitness app (available at an additional cost) and access to the PREP circuit in Ontario. Our fitness app is available across Canada, tailored specifically to help you prepare for the physical requirements with workouts targeting the muscle groups used in the fitness circuits.

Thank you for joining us today. We’re excited to support you in your journey to becoming a police constable!
